The Naturschutzbund Heinsberg e.V. (NABU) is a private, non-profit-making organisation. We try to enhance the meaning of nature and environment protection in the county of Heinsberg/Rhineland/Germany by means of: public relation work nature mapping and monitoring nature conservation participation in plan development environmental education (presentations, excursions) cooperation with schools and kindergardens We also publish information on nature and environment protection.
Actually, most of the work is done on bird, amphibian and bat protection and improving landscape planning in our county.
